The top layer is 97-98% Pure Copper or Aluminum.

The bottom layer is 97-98% Pure Aluminum.

They reflect the heat and send it back to its source.

The middle core layer is an insulated polymer, similar to dive suits.

The MLI is perforated, making for excellent vapor transmission.
